Pepper Spray Safety Guidelines

1. Read the Instructions:
   – Carefully read and understand all provided instructions, safety information, and legal disclaimer before using the pepper spray system.

2. Know Your Local Laws:
   – Familiarize yourself with local, state, and federal laws regarding the ownership, carrying, and use of pepper spray. Ensure that you comply with all applicable regulations.

3. Keep Away from Children:
   – Store the pepper spray out of reach of children and unauthorized individuals. It is intended for adult use only.

4. Do Not Tamper with the Device:
   – Avoid modifying, disassembling, or attempting to repair the device. Use only as directed and in the configuration provided. If you experience an issue with the device, contact F3 Defense at customerservice@f3defense.com to have it replaced.

5. Store Properly:
   – Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme heat (above 120°F/49°C) or cold (below 32°/0°C). Store your vehicle in a shaded or enclosed area when possible. Remove the cannister when possible. If the cannister is not stored properly, the contents may degrade, reducing spray range and potency. In extreme cases the cannister may rupture or leak due to pressure buildup.

6. Check for Expiration:
   – Regularly inspect the pepper spray canister for any signs of damage or wear. Replace it before its expiration date (two years) to ensure effectiveness.

7. Avoid Contamination:
   – Do not apply the spray to any food, drink, or non-target objects. Avoid spraying near flammable materials. Close vents, window, and power off climate control before discharging so the pepper spray does not enter the cabin of the vehicle.

8. Use Sensibly:
   – The pepper spray is for personal defense only. Do not use it for pranks, in a show of aggression, or against animals unless absolutely necessary for self-defense.
